Trigger Conditions 발생 과정

  1. USB Cable Connect
  2. When running Ayaspace, an incorrect command is sent to the EC or controller firmware, making it immediately inactivate the vibration function.

Inferred Cause 원인 추측

There had already been an issue where all windows were minimized when the power cable was disconnected, and I had submitted a report about it, receiving the EC version dated June 25, 2025. However, it is suspected that the problem first occurred in that version, and AYANEO’s response appears to have been a temporary workaround rather than a fundamental fix, causing other functions to malfunction. 이미 이전에도 전원 연결 해제시 모든 창이 최소화 되는 문제가 있었고 그에 대해 직접 리포트 하여 20250625 EC 버전 을 받았으나 이 당시에 문제가 발생한 것으로 추측, 아야네오측에서 제대로 된 해결이 아닌 임시 조치로 인해 다른 기능에 문제가 발생 추측

Interim Solution 임시 조치 방법

Stop using Ayaspace, Initialize/Reset the controller firmware. Ayaspace 사용 중단, 컨트롤러 펌웨어를 초기화

  • Uninstall or Stop using Ayaspace
  • Download AB08_V1.5_10.zip from https://ayaneo.com/support/download
  • Pressing L stick + Power On
  • Copy "AB08_V1.5_10.bin" file to new Disk Drive(The drive disappears automatically after file recognition)
  • Shutdown Device and Wait 1 minute and Turn on
  • Test it using the controller test in Steam settings
  • Optional: Temporarily installed Handheld Compainan for device management, but TDP control is not functional(limited to 20W)
  • Ayaspace 사용 중지, 시작프로그램 해제
  • 왼쪽 아날로그 스틱을 누른 상태에서 전원 켜기
  • AB08_V1.5_10.bin 파일을 새로 생긴 디스크 드라이브에 복사(파일 인식 후 자동으로 드라이브 사라짐)
  • 전원을 끄고 1분정도 대기 후 전원 켜기
  • 스팀 설정에서 기기 입력 테스트로 진동 확인
  • 옵션: 임시로 기기 관리를 위해 Handheld Compainan 설치, TDP 컨트롤 불가능(20W 로 제한됨)

I have sent an email to Ayaneo regarding this issue, and they confirmed they would reply after testing. Since there seem to be no issues with functions other than vibration, you can simply ignore this if the vibration feature is not important to you.
The touchpad part also appears to not have vibration feedback too. 이 문제에 대해 아야네오측에 메일을 보냈으며, 테스트 후 답장을 주겠다고 확인 받음, 진동 기능을 제외한 기능에는 문제가 없어보이니 진동이 중요하지 않다면 무시
터치패드또한 진동 피드백이 활성화가 안되는 것으로 추측
