Asus Z13 – 첫 내부 청소

Overview 소개

This unit was purchased in 2022 and has been used continuously without cleaning until now.

2022년에 처음 구매하였고 지속 사용해온 제품으로 여태까지 한번도 청소 하지 않은 상태.

Situation 상황

Intermittent power off during sustained high-load tasks.
eGPU(XG Mobile 3080) powers off during demanding games
No unusual observations were found when checking Windows Event Logs and HWINFO, etc., to determine the cause.
As the Z13's temperature is typically quite high, there was no significant difference even when the power-off occurred.
No airflow is felt near the exhaust vent

장시간 고사양 작업시 Z13 간간히 전원 꺼짐
고사양 게임시 egpu(XG Mobile 3080) 전원 꺼짐
원인 규명을 위해 윈도우 이벤트 로그, HWINFO확인등 특이사항은 없었음
Z13 의 온도는 원래 상당히 높은 편이라 전원 꺼짐 당시에도 큰 차이가 없었음
배기구에서 바람이 느껴지지 않음

Solution 해결

It was immediately obvious that the cooler was filled with dust, indicating virtually no cooling effect from the fans. Thus, we decided to disassemble the product and clean it. 한눈에 보아도 쿨러에 먼지가 가득 찬 상황으로 거의 팬에 의한 쿨링 효과가 전무한 상황임을 인지, 제품을 분해후 청소하기로 결정

Conclusion 결론

After removing all the dust, the power-off and other issues no longer occurred. 모든 먼지를 제거 후에는 전원꺼짐 등 문제가 더 이상 발생하지 않음.
